Civil Engineering Wonders XML

Problem Statement: The purpose of this webpage is to describe two civil engineering wonders of the world, the Empire State Building and the Pyramids at Giza, by using a simple XML languege.

The Empire State Building is the 102 story skyscraper in the heart of New York City, New York at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street. The building was started in 1930 and was completed just one year later in 1931. This structure qualifies as an engineering wonder of the world because it was the world's tallest building for over 40 years, uneil 1972 when the World Trade Center's North Tower was built.

The Pyramids of Giza are located in the Giza Necropolis in what is now Cairo, Egypt in Africa. The pyramids were built over a 20 year time period, starting in 2580 BC and ending in about 2560 BC.These structures are considered civil engineering wonders because they were built far before heavy machinery was developed and they stood as the tallest structures in the world from 2570 BC to 1300 AD.
